Empire Magazine spoke exclusively to producer Frank Marshall yesterday who confirmed that a sequel to “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystall Skull” is indeed close to the script writing stage, just as we told you yesterday regarding comments from Shia Laeouf to The BBC.
“It’s really about the script,” Marshall said to Empire. “Once we see that, we’ll see. We’re not going to wait another 20 years. We’d all love to make another one. I’m anxious to hear the idea!”
Time is definitely of the essence in this case, as although he is still obviously perfectly capable to a certain extent, Harrison Ford may not want to put himself through the kind of physical production that Indy demands for much longer.
