Peter Jackson granted an exclusive interview recently in which he stated that his Hobbit project is slated to start filming in 2010. Check out our article for more new details about the film.
Empire Magazine has reported that Peter Jackson has his Hobbit project slated to start filming in the summer of 2010.
Surprisingly, Jackson also stated that that ‘the budget has yet to be calculated, based on the script, and that the greenlight has not officially been given yet’ - although a greenlight is almost certainly going to be granted.
The first Hobbit movie is thought to be set for release in late 2011, and a sequel to follow in 2012.
