Summit Entertainment is busy crunching the numbers on whether to split the last Twilight Saga Adaption ‘Breaking Dawn’ into a two film feature. Check out the details on the challenges and estimated pay deals in line for stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner after the jump.
According to Variety, on the back of the second straight box office blitz with ‘New Moon’, Summit Entertainment is now preparing for the possibility of splitting the last book in the Twilight Saga series, Breaking Dawn, into two movies in order to maximize the longevity of this teen vampire phenomenon.
Summit would need to put forward massive amounts of financing in order to stretch ‘Breaking Dawn’ into a dual feature. Author Stephenie Meyer, Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and preferred director Chris Weitz (although Weitz returning isn’t ‘essential’) would all need to agree first, and then would come the necessary mega pay jumps for stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Many industry experts estimate that Pattinson and Stewart could fetch in the region of anywhere between $15,000,000 and $20,000,000 each for a two-pic finale.
